As a Security Officer Full Time Patrol Unit in Philadelphia, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Education, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a dynamic education location, where you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support access awareness across campus. Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities across an educational campus environment.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate relevant details to campus contacts, supervisors, and/or first responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, walkways, parking areas, residence-adjacent locations, and perimeter areas to help identify unusual activity, hazards, and/or policy violations.
• Monitor access points and observe campus activity to help support authorized entry, provide directions and assistance, and report suspicious behavior, maintenance concerns, and/or security-related issues.
• Complete routine reports and document incidents, observations, and actions taken during patrols and assigned duties in accordance with Allied Universal standards and location expectations.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
