As a Security Guard Patrol Associate in New York, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed Patrol Officer in a commercial real estate location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, stay visible to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or property staff by following site-specific procedures, access guidelines, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and communicating with property management and/or emergency services as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the property, including lobbies, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations, to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and/or designated access points to help to deter unauthorized entry, support visitor processing, and report suspicious behavior or maintenance-related issues.
• Support daily operations at a commercial real estate location by completing incident reports, maintaining visible presence, and assisting with security-related requests from tenants, visitors, and/or on-site personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• A New York State Security Guard License is required.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
