As a Security Officer Armed Field Patrol in Jacksonville, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Armed Patrol Officer at a financial institution location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help reduce security-related incidents, and support access activity with strong customer service and communication. Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific procedures, access protocols, and/or emergency response activities at a financial institution location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting security-related concerns and notifying appropriate personnel when needed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the location, including the lobby, offices, parking areas, and perimeter, to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas, verify credentials as directed, and report unusual behavior, hazards, and/or policy violations.
• Support opening and closing activities, assist with visitor and employee interactions, and follow post orders related to security-related presence, observation, and incident response.

Minimum Requirements:

• An armed guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• The ability to comfortably use a computer and/or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
