As a Security Officer Residential Grounds Patrol in Phoenix, AZ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Transportation, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a transportation location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence that helps to deter security-related incidents, and support riders, visitors, and staff with outstanding customer service and communication. Pay Rate: $20.25 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service at a transportation location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while documenting relevant details and reporting concerns through established channels.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout passenger areas, terminal spaces, parking areas, loading zones, and the outer perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity.
• Monitor access points, observe visitor and employee movement, and/or report suspicious behavior, unattended items, or policy violations to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Support orderly operations by assisting with directions, answering general questions, and/or helping to address customer concerns in a professional manner.

Minimum Requirements:

• A minimum of 6 months of security-related experience is required.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
