Position Overview

The Director of Commercial Finance will provide strategic financial leadership for the Commercial organization supporting Regal Rexnord's Power Efficiency Solutions (PES) business in North America. The Commercial organization is responsible for revenue generation and sales enablement for this segment, which represents approximately $1.7 billion of Regal Rexnord's $7+ billion in annual revenue.

This role serves as a key business partner to the VP Sales for North America and is an integral member of the Commercial Leadership Team. The Director will oversee strategic planning, budgeting, forecasting, financial close, financial analysis, SOX compliance, and the ongoing enhancement of internal controls, processes, and financial discipline.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as a strategic business partner to the VP Sales for North America, providing insights on the financial implications of commercial decisions
  • Play a key leadership role in the 3Year Strategic Planning process
  • Lead the annual budgeting process, establishing financial targets and direction for the Commercial function, including stretch goals that outperform relevant market sectors
  • Direct the monthly forecasting process, including consolidation, corporate reporting, and leading monthly close and performance reviews with Commercial leadership
  • Collaborate closely with Division Finance and Centers of Excellence to align investments with strategic and financial priorities
  • Conduct regular business reviews with Commercial COEs, including KPI tracking, performance reporting, and preparation of business review, annual plan, and other executivelevel financial presentations
  • Manage critical commercial financial programs, including rebates, commissions, and incentive structures for Indirect Manufacturing Reps, Direct outside and inside sales teams, and SPIFF programs
  • Provide ad hoc financial analysis and modeling to support innovation initiatives, product development, pricing, brand investments, and marketing programs
  • Support Finance Transformation and Integration initiatives across planning, budgeting, forecasting, modeling, and reporting processes
  • Develop and refine policies and procedures to ensure compliance with company guidelines and best practices
  • Prepare financial analysis and insights for seniorlevel presentations and decisionmaking
  • Drive continuous improvement and cycletime reduction across recurring financial processes through enhanced use of technology, standardization, and adoption of Regal Rexnord's 80/20 principles
  • Ensure compliance with Regal Rexnord accounting policies, US GAAP, IFRS, and all applicable regulatory requirements
  • Partner crossfunctionally to provide financial leadership for division initiatives, including 80/20 execution, pricing strategy, and footprint optimization

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
  • Minimum of 10 years of progressive accounting/finance experience
  • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to build credibility, influence crossfunctional partners, and establish a strong personal brand
  • Ability to balance strategic perspective with handson analytical depth, including comfort diving into transactional detail when needed
  • Strong analytical capability with a demonstrated ability to identify trends, themes, and opportunities for continuous improvement
  • Proven ability to navigate obstacles, adapt to changing priorities, and drive results in a dynamic environment
  • Commitment to developing, coaching, and mentoring team members to build longterm capability
  • Thrives in a fastpaced environment with frequent ad hoc requests and shifting priorities
  • Demonstrated resourcefulness, initiative, and results orientation; embraces continuous improvement and Regal Rexnord's 80/20 principles
  • Strong working knowledge of Power BI
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

  • Advanced degree or MBA
  • Prior experience in a Commercial Finance leadership role
  • Experience with Oracle ERP and OneStream
