Estimated annual base pay SAP IBP Analyst II: $78,000(minimum) - $102,000(midpoint) - $125,000(maximum)

Estimated annual base pay SAP IBP Analyst III: $95,000(minimum) - $123,000(midpoint) - $152,000(maximum)

Integrated Business Planning (IBP) Analyst supports end-to-end supply chain planning processes. This role will focus on optimizing planning workflows, ensuring data integrity, and driving system enhancements within SAP IBP. The ideal candidate will combine strong analytical skills with a collaborative mindset to deliver solutions that improve forecasting accuracy, inventory management, and overall operational efficiency.

SAP IBP Analyst II

Key Responsibilities:

  • Business Requirements Analysis: Independently elicit, analyze, and document business requirements; Evaluate enhancement vs. new solution options; Collaborate with stakeholders to define scope.
  • Documentation and Testing: Own documentation for assigned projects; Coordinate and execute system testing, integration testing, and UAT to ensure the system meets business needs and traceability.
  • Solution Design and Implementation: Facilitate cross-functional teams to design and implement solutions; Configure platform modules to meet business requirements, including cross-module integration; Ensure alignment with organizational standards and promote reuse of existing capabilities.
  • Stakeholder Communication and Training: Act as a liaison between business and IT; Lead training sessions and manage stakeholder expectations.
  • System Development and Support: Identify and resolve complex platform-related issues, providing timely support to users; Manage enhancements and bug fixes; Collaborate with developers to ensure quality and adherence to standards; Own small-to-medium development efforts; Mentor other team members as needed.

Key Skills:

  • Proficiency in SAP IBP configuration and functionality (Demand, Supply, Inventory Planning).
  • Experience with SAP ECC or S/4HANA integration points.
  • Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills: Analyze complex problems and recommend solutions. Use data to support decisions; Advanced problem-solving skills to address complex system issues.
  • Business Process Modeling: Design and optimize business processes; Use modeling tools to support solution design; Ability to identify inefficiencies in platform-related processes and recommend improvements.
  • Change Management & Training: Lead training and change initiatives; Develop materials and measure adoption; Experience in managing change requests and implementing system changes.
  • Documentation & Traceability: Own documentation for projects; Ensure version control and audit readiness.
  • Project Coordination & Execution: Lead small projects or workstreams; Ensure timely delivery and attention to detail.
  • Requirements Gathering & Analysis: Independently gather, analyze, and validate requirements; Facilitate workshops and resolve requirement conflicts.
  • Solution Design Thinking: Translate requirements into functional designs. Evaluate solution options.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Facilitate meetings, manage expectations, and resolve conflicts.
  • Technical Acumen: Proficient in using and analyzing data within at least one enterprise system; Deep knowledge of specific platform modules and their integration points; Collaborate with technical teams to support integrations, configurations, and troubleshooting; Demonstrate continuous learning mindset, interest in technology trends, platform direction.
  • Testing & Quality Assurance: Lead testing efforts; Ensure traceability and quality standards.

Successful Candidates Will Typically Have:

  • 3-5 years IBP experience: demand/supply planning, key figure/master data configuration, time profile management, application jobs, planner workspaces, Excel Add-in, embedded analytics/reporting, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.
  • CIDS: mapping and debugging.
  • Project management expertise.

SAP IBP Analyst III

Key Responsibilities:

  • Business Requirements Analysis: Lead strategic requirements analysis across departments; Identify enterprise-level opportunities and influence solution direction.
  • Documentation and Testing: Define documentation standards and testing strategies; Ensure compliance and quality assurance across projects.
  • Solution Design and Implementation: Lead the design, configuration, and implementation of platform solutions to address complex business challenges; Architect complex solutions and lead enterprise-wide implementations; Drive standardization and scalability across departments; Provide strategic input on system roadmaps.
  • Stakeholder Communication and Training: Build strong stakeholder relationships across the enterprise; Lead change management efforts and influence adoption of new systems.
  • System Development and Support: Oversee full development lifecycle for major initiatives; Ensure alignment with architecture and security standards. Lead support strategy and continuous improvement; Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the success of platform initiatives; Mentor and guide junior analysts on technical skills, project management, and best practices; Oversee the work of mid-level analysts, ensuring their tasks align with project timelines and quality standards.

Key Skills:

  • Expertise in SAP IBP configuration and functionality (Demand, Supply, Inventory Planning).

  • Stakeholder Communication:Influence senior stakeholders; Drive alignment and strategic communication; Collaborating with business leaders, technical teams, and external vendors effectively.
  • Technical Acumen: Extensive expertise in multiple platform modules and their advanced functionalities; Serve as the go-to expert for specific modules and provide guidance to both technical and functional teams; Provide strategic insight into enterprise system capabilities and limitations; Expertise in integrating with third-party systems and tools (e.g., middleware, APIs); Leading data migration efforts, including cleansing, mapping, and validation; Lead cross-system analysis and ensure alignment with architectural standards; Evaluate new platforms and guide system-agnostic solution design.
  • Testing & Quality Assurance: Define testing strategy, processes, and standards; Oversee Unit Testing, System Integration Testing, and User Acceptance Testing across multiple projects.

Successful Candidates Will Typically Have:

  • 7-10 years IBP experience: demand/supply planning, key figure/master data configuration, time profile management, application jobs, planner workspaces, Excel Add-in, embedded analytics/reporting, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.
  • CIDS: mapping and debugging.
  • Project management expertise.
