Job Title: Vendor Management Specialist

Location(s): Des Moines, IA
(Hybrid: blending at least three office days in a typical workweek).

What You'll Do
Partner with business stakeholder, third-party vendor and operational staff daily to ensure delivery of services are in alignment with contractual expectation. Advocate service offerings on behalf of the area by influencing decisions related to use of services.

  • Support Technology teams and business units on tasks associated with vendor supplier management.
  • Responsible for documentation and record tracking to fulfill EDS responsibilities.
  • Gain understanding of strategy and associate changes. Be encouraging toward strategy and change through transparent feedback.
  • Be a champion of the strategy and change agent among peers and customers.
  • Shows precision in conveyed data and aids with reporting.
  • Proactively collaborate with your vendor management colleagues and any operational personnel within Enterprise Documents and throughout the organization.
  • Be continuously and actively engaged with vendors who support our operation.
  • Work on assigned projects as needed.
Who You Are
  • Bachelor's degree plus 2+ years related work experience required.
  • Must have excellent interpersonal skills due to the significant level of cross functional interaction inherent in the position.
  • Excellent analytical, problem solving, presentation, organizational skills, and written/verbal communication skills, as well as ability to have common sense.
  • Must have the ability to multitask and prioritize workload to meet established deadlines and performance standards.
  • Must have positive relationship skills and have a proven track record of informally managing and networking with staff of diverse functions and objectives to achieve results.
Skills That Will Help You Stand Out
  • Interest/experience using AI tools.
  • Strong Excel proficiency.
  • Experience with ServiceNow and PowerBI.
Hours
  • Flexible start time between 07:00 AM - 08:00 AM CST.
Work Environments
  • This role offers in-office, hybrid (blending at least three office days in a typical workweek).
