Job Description

Leading a team of two onmarketingplanning & execution to drivemarket shareand revenue growthacrosskey industries such as Energy,Oil and Gas,Engineering, and Finance.Thisrolealsoincludesresponsibilityfordriving demand forour suite of advertising services across all industries and customer groups.This rolewillbe closely focused on KPIs to support revenuegrowth, andwillwork closely with commercial teams to drive the lead pipeline for new businessacquisition, leadon deliveringengagement strategies, and work with customer success teamson deliveringmeasurable value to customers.Ensure thatagreedvalue creation metricsareachievedand recommendations made, for action or change,effectively influencingthe wider marketing groupasrequired.Update theDirector of Corporate Marketing Developmenton wider changes in the marketplace and support them in developing go to market strategies for new service development, new product launches, or new routes to markets asrequired. Interpreting marketing data insight & campaign analysis critical to understand resource prioritisation for return on effort.

Work with peersacross the department to find solutions, refine operational activities for efficiency, and find scalefor our programmes. Develop teammemberswhichcontribute tovalue creation & a culture of empowerment & enablement where all voices are heard to contribute to the value creation of the department for customers & experts we serve.

What you'll be doing:

  • Effectively manage and report back on budget spend andreturn
  • Monitor and analyse sales patterns and other performance measures to build marketing strategies and tacticswhich create value and support the business growth ambitions
  • Lead, performance manage andmonitorthe teamof fourdirect reports, fostering a culture of enablement & empowerment where every colleague understands their value creation for the business
  • Proactively engageand listento corporate customer feedback and requirements and actively collaborate across internal stakeholders to support new developments including the editorial pipeline and focus based on customer need and insight
  • Explore and support initiatives to enhance corporate user experience in enabling access to content in line with corporate customer preference
  • Put data at the heart of all decisions
  • Build effective long-term & strategic relationships both internal (commercial,product,editorialetc) and external (e.g.3rdparty services suppliers,relevantassociations) & have the ability toeffectively influence outcomes
  • Ensure commercial viability by keeping costs firmly at the centre of conversations
  • Maintain and develop an awareness of external issues and market developments, including competitor activities, needs of customers, advances in technology,professional trends, and share findings with the business and team.
  • Support on developing and delivering new product launches.
  • Produce marketing activity and analysis reports for senior management; make recommendations to senior management for improvements to team and departmental objectives
Qualifications

What we're looking for:

  • Proventrack recordof goal-achievement in a marketingmanagerrole
  • Successful experience in managing a product portfolio or customer channel
  • Industry and marketexpertiseespecially related to marketingto corporates
  • Demonstrable customer and commercial awareness - including the competitive environment, potential partnerorganisationsand market trends
  • Global marketing experience in a high growth environmentseekingto build campaigns tooptimise untapped or under-developedmarketpotential
  • Excellent marketing portfolio/channel, relationship, & communication management skills
  • Commercial and customer focus
  • Critical and analytical ability
  • Understanding of statistical and financial information andhigh levelof numeracy
  • Results driven
  • Excellent team player and relationship building abilities
  • Excellent time management skills; meets deadlines

    • Annual salary range: $115,000 base salary + up to 15% annual bonus
