Salary will be determined by the applicant's education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.

  • Estimated hourly base pay:

    • $21.15 (minimum)- $33.65 (max) with a 10% shift premium

    • Hours: Monday through Friday, 10:00 PM to 6:00AM

    • Training Hours: 8:00 AM- 4:00 PM (1st Week Only)

Are you ready to make your mark? If you're an TIG Welder 1, we have an exciting opportunity for you.

  • This role involves performing welding operations, maintaining equipment, interpreting blueprints, inspecting for quality, and adhering to safety standards. The position requires proficiency in various welding techniques, effective communication, time management, and collaboration with team members.

What You Will Be Doing:

  • Perform Welding Operations: Executes welding tasks using standardized techniques and equipment in accordance with established procedures.

  • Maintain Equipment: Conducts regular inspections and routine maintenance of welding tools and machinery to ensure optimal functionality.

  • Read and Interpret Blueprints: Utilizes technical drawings and specifications to accurately guide welding processes and ensure precise outcomes.

  • Quality Standards: Inspects welded components to verify compliance with quality and safety standards, addressing any discrepancies.

  • Safety Compliance: Knowledge of and adherence to safety protocols and regulations in welding environments.

What We Are Looking For:

  • Welding Techniques: Proficient in various welding methods such as MIG, TIG, and/or Arc welding.

  • Problem Solving: Identifies and resolves common welding issues using established procedures.

  • Equipment Operation: Skilled in operating welding equipment and related machinery safely and effectively.

  • Team Communication: Communicates effectively with team members and supervisors to support workflow and escalate immediate issues. Adherence to Woodward's Core Values.

  • Time Management: Effectively manages time to complete assigned tasks within established schedules. Adheres to individual schedule.

  • Blueprint Reading: Ability to interpret and understand technical drawings and schematics.

Successful candidates typically have:

  • High School Diploma, or GED Equivalent

  • 1+ years of TIG Welding experience

This position requires use of information which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or the Export Administration Regulations (EAR).
