Data Entry Specialist Location: Whitehouse Station, NJ Schedule: Monday-Friday \| 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM \| Onsite Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented Data Entry Specialist to support insurance policy processing through accurate data entry, verification, and self-review using proprietary systems. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a production-driven office environment and can manage multiple systems while maintaining high quality and accuracy standards. The primary function of this position is the timely and accurate entry of policy information, review of risk characteristics, and verification of data while adhering to established processes, quality benchmarks, and production goals. Key Responsibilities * Review client and insured information from one proprietary mainframe system and accurately transfer data to a second system * Compile, verify, and validate policy and risk data prior to entry * Ensure accurate entry of existing data and apply appropriate matching or additional insurance coverages * Perform self-review of work to ensure compliance with documented processes and quality standards * Address referral reasons and inquiries with agents and internal customers in a professional manner * Review and correct errors within 24 hours of feedback from team specialists or trainers * Consistently meet or exceed quality and production benchmarks within established timeframes Performance Expectations * Achieve a minimum quality score of 80 within 90 days, progressing to 95 within 150 days * Reach a production goal of 60 within 90 days, progressing to 90 within 150 days Top Skills & Qualifications Required (Must Haves): * 2+ years of office or clerical experience * Insurance industry experience * Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word & Excel) * Ability to work efficiently across multiple systems simultaneously * High School Diploma or GED Preferred Skills: * Strong attention to detail and accuracy * Excellent time management and self-review skills * Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, production-driven environment * Strong communication skills for internal and agent-facing interactions Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Whitehouse Station, NJ. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $19.00 - $20.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
