Job Description

The College of Philosophy and Letters at Saint Louis University invites qualified applicants for a full-time, non-tenure track position as Assistant Professor of Catholic Studies. The search committee seeks Jesuit candidates committed to the College's work in Catholic Studies and to its outreach through the program at the University Catholic Center in Austin, Texas. Candidates should have a record of scholarship and teaching in their field of expertise.

Responsibilities:

  • Teaching at the undergraduate and graduate levels

Minimum Qualifications:

  • An earned doctoral degree (by the start date)
  • Demonstrated potential for excellence in teaching and scholarship
