Summary
A Research Technologist I position is immediately available in the E lab in the department of Cell Biology, Neurobiology and Anatomy. The lab investigates molecular mechanisms underlying neurodegeneration in both normal aging and disease context, such as Alzheimer's disease, primarily using C. elegans(roundworm) as a model system. While experience in molecular biology, molecular genetics, microscopy, and/or working with C. elegansis welcome, hands-on training will be available for all required tasks. Demonstrated proficiency in basic biology/chemistry lab techniques (weighing, pipetting, making solutions/buffers, dilutions, centrifugation, etc.) is required. Primary Responsibilities

Sensory Acuity
Ability to detect and translate speech or other communication required. May occasionally require the ability to distinguish colors and perceive relative distances between objects.
