Overview

This position is for Detail Planning Supervisor responsible for Impact Analysis. The candidates selected for this position will be responsible for the direction and oversight of Detail Planners for change maintenance of COLUMBIA Class work instructions using the Integrated Product Development Environment (IPDE) and Next Generation Planning (NGP) toolsets. The candidates will also be responsible for developing process and software solutions using the NX/Teamcenter toolset to improve the delivery and management of work instructions, including the execution of IPDE tasks.

Responsibilities:

    Management and oversight of a team of Detail Planners
  • Execution of organizational goals, including monthly attainment
  • Training and development of Detail Planners, including enforcement of procedural compliance and goal setting
  • Regular interaction with both Planning internal and company-wide management regarding performance to goals
  • Contribution to organizational development, including process and procedure development and execution of IPDE tasking


Qualifications

Required:

  • 4+ years combined experience in Planning, Design, Engineering, Design Build (DBS), Customer Service, Military, Warehousing, Inventory, Scheduling, Production Control or Management
  • Experience with Teamcenter and PCM
  • Experience with the COLUMBIA Change Process
  • High School Diploma or equivalent

Preferred:

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Previous Supervisory Experience
  • Lead, mentor, or tutor experience at Electric Boat
  • Experience with CLB Detail Planning and related processes and procedures

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management
