CNC Machine Programming Technician Requirements: Built for Precision

• GED or high school diploma required.
• 1+ years of hands on CNC machining knowledge, including introductory programming experience of machining equipment.
• Must be able to read, interpret, and work from engineering prints, drawings, and sketches.
• Understand and manipulate G and M Code.
• Proficiency in Solidworks or similar CAD software
• Detail-oriented with solid problem-solving skills.
• Able to lift materials and remain on your feet through the shift.

Your Everyday Hustle

• Create and optimize CNC programs and tooling strategies for prototype and production parts.
• Partner with R&D teams to support product development and transition designs into full-scale manufacturing.
• Analyze blueprints, CAD models, and GD&T specifications to determine machining methods and tooling requirements.
• Improve machining processes to reduce cycle times, extend tool life, and minimize secondary operations.
• Develop and validate CNC programs, setups, and process documentation.
• Troubleshoot machining issues and support day-to-day production needs.
• Train machinists and setup teams on new or improved processes.
• Conduct process audits to enhance quality, efficiency, and process control.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives using lean manufacturing principles.
