JOB SUMMARY:



The Commercial Services Processor has the primary responsibilities to assist the Commercial Services Team Leader and serve as a backup, to coordinate and perform the daily Commercial Services functions including support to Treasury Management services, Online Banking setups, and backup to ACH and Wire transfers. This position will provide guidance to peers, excellent customer service, process improvement initiatives, and manage workflow to meet daily deadlines adhering to policy and procedures minimizing risk of loss to the Bank.


JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:




  • Responsible for coordinating the daily processing of all Commercial Service requests, ensuring accuracy and completion on special pricing, exception pricing reviews and fee waivers. This also includes all online banking new setups and maintenance requests and Armored Car Service setups/settlements and/or other commercial products and services.
  • Responsible for accuracy of the month end review of all analysis maintenance changes submitted prior to statement creation to assure accuracy including final approval.
  • Provide backup for ACH and Wire processing functions as well as First Service Preferred Vendor report.
  • Complete all General Ledger reconciliations pertaining to Commercial Services and clear all outstanding entries.
  • Provide daily support for all Treasury Management products and services received as well as provide second level customer support.
  • Provide backup and assist Commercial Service Team Leader with maintenance of DACAs and follow up with Legal and Relationship Managers, when necessary, for documentation.
  • Provide backup for ordering of all supplies for Commercial Services team to ensure budget alignment and assist the Coordinator of Fire Drills for the Commercial Service team.
  • Remain current on all pertinent regulations, compliance, and Bank policy. Ensure dual control as well as all other audit requirements are met.
  • Provide backup support in testing and implementation of the Miser and Commercial Services related system upgrades keeping abreast of features and enhancements to achieve best return on investment and efficiencies. All procedures should be current, and reporting should be accurate.



OTHER JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:



  • Assists in the development of new business for Firstrust. Is alert to expressed customer/prospect needs to suggest appropriate services. Directs customers to appropriate person to establish business relationships.
  • Possesses knowledge of corporate products and services to suggest products. Be aware of situations where fee revenue could be enhanced.


  • Assist Commercial Service Manager on special projects and other duties as assigned.



PHYSICAL AND SENSORY REQUIREMENTS:



  • While performing the essential functions of this position, the employee is regularly required to use a computer terminal. The employee may be subject to repetitive motion while operating the computer and/or phone. The employee is expected to prepare and analyze data and be able to communicate and exchange information. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time. Some mobility to retrieve files and operate office equipment is necessary.

EDUCATION, TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE:



  • High School Diploma, preferred
  • Five years of banking experience focused on banking operations, wire processing, ach, online banking and analysis.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and communicates clearly and professionally.
  • Strong accounting and reconciliation skills.
  • Demonstrates friendly, positive attitude, self-motivator.
  • Above average organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to follow procedures and multi-task with a degree of versatility and flexibility.
  • Intermediate computer skills in the Microsoft Office Suite.



WORK SCHEDULE:



  • Currently a hybrid work schedule, three days in office, two days remote.
  • Work hours: Opening hours 8 AM - 5 PM or 9 AM - 5:30 PM
  • This is a Mission Critical position and could require working on days when the Bank is closed, opens late or closes early due to inclement weather.
