About the Role LG Commercial Displays is hiring a Senior Technical Product Manager to own cloud platform strategy and delivery for Pro:Centric. This is an ownership role, not a coordination role. You will own the BC 3.0 migration end to end, carry the AWS cost and platform uptime targets, and make the build / buy / partner decisions that shape the next generation of the service. Pro:Centric runs across a large installed base of hospitality properties, with expansion underway into cruise, fitness, retail, senior living, and MDU. You will move that installed base onto a modern multi-tenant foundation without disrupting live properties, and build the platform the next set of industries needs. What You Own
- BC 3.0 migration.Full ownership of the migration roadmap, sequencing, and cutover for existing properties and partners. Includes backward compatibility, migration tooling, partner and integrator readiness, and a credible rollback path when something goes wrong at a live site.
- AWS cost.Own platform cloud spend. Build and maintain the cost model, run analysis by service and by tenant, set per-property and per-device cost targets, and drive optimization with engineering: rightsizing, storage tiering, reserved and savings-plan coverage, data transfer, and CDN egress.
- Uptime and reliability KPIs.Define and own SLOs for provisioning, content delivery, device check-in, and API availability. Own the error budget, the incident review loop, and the reliability reporting that goes to HQ and to brand partners.
- Platform roadmap.APIs, provisioning, device and app management, tenant onboarding. Set priorities, make the trade-offs, and defend them.
- Monetization services.Identify and build the business case for revenue services layered on the platform: upsell, loyalty and micro-spend, transaction flows.
- Security and compliance posture.Ensure the platform meets partner and brand security requirements as it scales across regions.
How You Will Work This role sits across three engineering and product groups and needs credibility with all of them.
- Lincolnshire engineering.Your day-to-day delivery partner. You will be in their planning, reviews, and escalations.
- Lincolnshire product.Peer product managers covering adjacent surfaces including webOS applications, channel services, and device firmware. Your roadmap has to line up with theirs.
- HQ engineering (Korea).Platform architecture and prioritization decisions ultimately land here. You will negotiate scope, sequencing, and design across a time zone gap and a language gap. Expect regular early-morning or late-evening calls and periodic travel.
- Partners and integrators.Brands, system integrators, and cloud and service vendors.
Influence is the core skill. You will not have direct authority over most of the engineers building what you specify. This role works if you can win technical arguments on merit, hold a roadmap under pressure, and get real commitment from teams that do not report to you. What Success Looks Like In the first twelve months:
- BC 3.0 migration plan approved by HQ and Lincolnshire, with committed sequencing for the installed base
- An agreed share of properties migrated, with no severity-1 incidents attributable to the migration
- Cloud cost per property baselined and reduced against a stated target
- Published SLOs in place and consistently met, with regular reporting to HQ and brand partners
- A prioritized, funded roadmap for at least one new monetization service
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years in technical product management, including 5+ owning cloud or platform products
- Demonstrated ownership of a major platform migration involving a live installed base. You have run a cutover, not only planned one.
- Hands-on AWS depth. You can read a cost and usage report, challenge an architecture on cost grounds, and hold your own with a principal engineer.
- Experience defining and operating SLOs, SLIs, and error budgets for a production service
- Multi-tenant SaaS architecture and API-first design (REST, GraphQL, event-driven)
- Proven ability to influence and drive delivery across teams you do not manage, including across geographies
- Ability to manage a product portfolio: prioritization, trade-offs, lifecycle, and sunset decisions
- Strong communication with engineers and executives alike, including defending a technical decision in a business review
Preferred Qualifications
- CTV, hospitality, or enterprise display platforms
- CDN, streaming and video delivery, or IoT / device fleet management at scale
- Familiarity with MCP or similar integration frameworks
- Monetization services, payment, or transaction integrations
- Security and compliance frameworks such as ISO 27001, SOC 2, or GDPR
- Experience working with Korea-based engineering organizations
- Mentoring or managing product managers
- Pragmatic application of AI/ML to business outcomes rather than experimentation
