Position Overview
| Primary Purpose of Position |
The Administrative Intern provides parttime administrative support to the Dean's Office during the summer, working 20-30 hours per week. This role assists with daily operational needs, including handling light office traffic, coordinating conference room scheduling, and supporting general office management tasks. The intern is also responsible for consolidating office supplies and maintaining inventory for the Dean's Office. In addition to these core functions, the position contributes to the coordination and execution of strategic departmental projects, requiring strong organization, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with a range of campus stakeholders. |

The Dean's Office provides leadership, oversight, and administrative coordination across the department's academic, operational, and strategic initiatives. The unit is responsible for ensuring efficient daily operations, supporting faculty, staff, and students, and advancing key projects aligned with the department's mission. Through effective administration, communication, and resource management, the Dean's Office serves as a central hub supporting the department's overall goals and activities. |
