As a Senior Copywriter, you'll infuse our storytelling with heart and humanity to help our customers save money and live better. You'll dive deep, from breathing the brief to working with creative partners to send something out into the world that does good in its own small way. Ready to say something? We're listening.
Key Responsibilities


  • Content Creation: Compose copy that gets to the heart of human truths across paid/owned social, site assets, emails, digital ads, store signage, printed mailers, video scripts, and billboards.

  • Brand Stewardship: Gain a deep understanding of core principles, voice, tone, and style guides to support business goals.

  • Project Management: Independently manage multiple projects on varying timelines and levels of complexity.

  • Campaign Execution: Own copy for large-scale, high-priority campaigns. Partner with design to compose high volumes of assets and integrate stakeholder feedback.

  • Strategic Translation: Turn messaging direction and business priorities into compelling, customer-centric copy.

  • Collaboration: Work with Design and cross-functional teams to find creative solutions; attend kick-offs and follow-up meetings to proactively seek clarity.

  • Feedback & Growth: Approach edits from marketers and editors with a positive, collaborative attitude. Confidently explain creative choices to reach consensus.

  • Quality Assurance: Participate in QA phases to ensure correct implementation and conduct site audits to identify errors.

  • Industry Expertise: Stay updated on competitors, industry trends, and tech developments; act as a proxy for the Copy Lead when necessary.


Qualifications


  • Education & Experience: * BA in Journalism, Creative Writing, Advertising, or related field + 3+ years of copywriting experience OR 5+ years of total copywriting experience

  • Soft Skills:


    • Ability to work autonomously and self-manage.

    • Strong collaborative spirit and a "roll up your sleeves" work ethic.

    • A fantastic sense of humor is a plus!




The target hiring compensation range for this role is $50.00/hr to $55.00/hr. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
