Position Overview:

Own the production schedule and SIOP process to ensure alignment between demand, capacity, and execution. Drive on-time delivery, improve flow, and create a predictable operating plan across the business.

Essential Functions:

- Work closely with Customer Focused Team (CFT) leadership to ensure smooth integration between CFT and Scheduling teams

- Collaborate with shop leadership to resolve high level resource constraints and ensure schedule integrity to meet customer delivery requirements

- Lead a team of Schedulers to manage their respective CFT assignments; manage performance, onboarding, and corrective actions of direct reports

- Own the Master Production Schedule (MPS)

- Sequence work to maximize throughput and meet delivery commitments

- Monitor and enforce schedule adherence

- Lead and continuously improve the monthly SIOP process

- Align demand with capacity and materials

- Maintain a rolling 3-18 month capacity plan

- Drive decisions on load balancing

- Identify bottlenecks and capacity gaps and recommend actions (overtime, shifts, outsourcing)

- Balance trade-offs between cost, lead time, and service

- Coordinate with Purchasing, Operations, and CFTs

- Lead weekly scheduling and monthly SIOP meetings

Qualifications:

- 7+ years in scheduling, planning, or supply chain

- Experience owning or leading SIOP / S&OP

- APICS CPIM and/or CSCP certification preferred

- Strong ERP/MRP and capacity planning experience

- Infor Visual ERP experience is a plus

- Manufacturing environment (fabrication/machining preferred)

Availability:

- Must maintain regular and acceptable attendance at such level as is determined in the employer's sole discretion.

- Must be available and willing to work overtime as the employer determines is necessary or desirable to meet its business needs.

Travel:

Must be available and willing to travel as the employer determines

Sitting at computer terminal for extended periods of time

Safety Requirements:

- Must be committed to a high standard of safety and be willing and able to comply with all safety laws and all of the employer's safety policies and rules and must be willing to report safety violations and potential safety violations to appropriate supervisory or management personnel.

Typical office environment with exposure to machine shop environment occasionally.
