Full Stack Developer

The Opportunity:
As a full-stack developer,you'lldesign and deliver secure, scalable applications that bring AI-powered capabilities to life for our HR and peopleoperations users.You'llanalyze the needs and the environment to make sure the solution you are developing considers the current architecture and operating environment, as well as future functionality and enhancements. You'llintegrate enterprise AI services such as large language models (LLMs) and retrieval augmented generation (RAG), with web stacks and SQL data stores to create intuitive and reliable user experiences.

This role is more than coding,you'llcollaborate across product, data, and security to turn practical AI use cases into production-ready solutions that streamline workflows and unlock insights.

WhatYou'll Work On:

  • Design, develop, andmaintainfull-stack applications such as front end, APIs, services, and data tiers, including robust integration with SQLbased databases.
  • Integrate with enterprise AI platforms and architectures such as LLMs and RAG pipelines, to enhance HR applications, including naturallanguage search across policies and knowledge bases, automated document summarization, and contextual insights surfaced in user workflows.
  • Design, develop, implement, andmaintainHR and training software applications and management solutions in an operational environment at the corporate and below level.
  • Build reliable retrieval and data processing pipelines to feed AI features with internal and approved external data.
  • Perform ETL from source systems into the SQL data layer.
  • Ensure data quality, consistency, and security across systems,applyingrole-based access, auditability, and privacyaware design when handling enterprise data.
  • Implement retrieval-based solutions using internal documents, APIs, and databases, optimizingprompt flows, embeddings, and vector search for performance and accuracy.
  • Collaborate with product owners and stakeholders toidentifyhighvalue AI use cases.
  • Tune AI-enabled features for performance, cost, and reliability.

You Have:

  • 10+ years of experience with IT infrastructures
  • 5+ years of experience supporting the Intelligence Community (IC), and building production web applications and services with .NET development, including C# and ASP.NET
  • 3+ years of experience withjQuery,SQL,orXML
  • 2+ yearsof experience with JavaScript
  • Experience withthe softwaredevelopment lifecycle, IT systems design and testing, IT COTS software integration, Agile development methodologies, and requirements gathering and analysis
  • Experience with cloud environments, modern frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue, component driven UI patterns, and theSoftware Development Life Cycle(SDLC), including automated testingand demonstration
  • Knowledge of AI/LLM concepts, including prompting, embeddings, retrieval, and vector search, and applying AI capabilities within enterprise applications
  • TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
  • Bachelor'sdegree
  • Security+ or Privileged User AccessCertification

NiceIf You Have:

  • Experience with HR systems such as Workday and ServiceNow, or knowledge management platforms such as SharePoint and Confluence
  • Experience withLimeSurvey, Tableau, SharePoint, ServiceNow, and Learning Management Systems
  • Knowledge of security and privacy controls, including RBAC, data minimization, encryption, and safeuse policies for AI
  • Master's degree

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $86,800.00 to $198,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
