As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Specialist in Nashville, TN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Education, and more. Our Allied Universal officers at a dynamic education location monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, support access control activities, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. In this visible unarmed role, you will help to deter security-related incidents while assisting students, staff, and visitors. Pay Rate: $17.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities within an educational location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while communicating clearly with staff, students, visitors, and/or local responders.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual behavior.
• Monitor access points and report suspicious, disruptive, and/or unauthorized activity in accordance with site protocols and Allied Universal guidelines.
• Support a professional campus atmosphere by documenting observations, completing required reports, and assisting with routine security-related requests from the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
