The Visual Media Specialist plays a pivotal role in Hilti North America (HNA) marketing efforts by spearheading the creation of captivating content for HNA digital campaigns. With a strong focus on innovation, this role is tasked with crafting compelling visual assets that enhance campaign performance and drive brand awareness for HNA. This role serves as a brand partner to internal stakeholders within the organization as it pertains to customer-facing communication.
What You'll do
- Lead proactive, strategic content creation with oversight of project timelines and budgets for effective execution aligned with marketing and brand objectives.
- Craft creative briefs to write, script and develop compelling storytelling ideas across multiple assets, specifically focusing on producing engaging product and solution-oriented videos and photos.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders (brand, digital, product management, trade management, etc.) to create content that effectively communicates the message to the intended audience in a compelling and brand-compliant manner.
- Collaborate with stakeholders from the outset of a campaign to strategically select visual assets that ensure consistency and quality across multiple touchpoints; including, but not limited to, photography, video, social media, advertising, website, email, events and merchandising.
- Coordinate the development of video and photography assets for HNA's products, software and services, from pre-production to post-production stages.
- Provide art direction at video/photo shoots through personal presence and collaboration with internal stakeholders and external agencies.
- Innovate visual content production by leveraging new trends, testing them through minimal viable products, and offering recommendations to enhance campaign performance.
- Partner with the social media team to produce and deliver content while staying updated on successful social media content trends and asset types.
- Develop and manage external agency relationships, serving as the primary point of contact and ensuring effective communication and execution of creative briefs.
- Maintain and manage the local and global video and photography content archives, coordinating with the global team to provide content for the Hilti Content Hub.
- Optimize and manage the HNA YouTube channel, implementing best practices for content creation, audience engagement and channel growth strategies.
What You'll Bring
- Bachelor's Degree in Marketing or related field
- Minimum three (3) years of proven technical and creative experience in content creation
- Passion for innovation and creativity, with a proactive approach to problem-solving and driving results
- Strong knowledge of the entire production lifecycle, including pre-production, audio and video recording, lighting, studio environments, editing, and content delivery
- Experience in storytelling and scripting
- Excellent project management skills, with the ability to oversee multiple projects simultaneously and deliver results on time and within budget
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external agencies
- Highly organized and detail-oriented, with a keen eye for quality and brand consistency
- Ability to travel as needed, up to 10%
- Required experience with Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe After Effects, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Lightroom (Adobe Creative Suite), and Mac Operating Systems
- Experience with video and photo production equipment (DSLR cameras, lighting, and sound equipment), required
