Overview

The Logistics & Material Coordinator will serve in a full-time capacity, supporting daily warehouse and logistics operations at either the Pico Rivera, CA or Bloomington, CA facility. This role is responsible for overseeing all inbound and outbound CCM material movements, ensuring material quality, accuracy, and accountability across both locations. Responsibilities include logistics coordination, inventory tracking, QA/QC of materials, warehouse organization, reporting, and immediate response to material needs while maintaining compliance with safety and documentation standards.



Responsibilities

Inbound, Outbound & Transportation Logistics

    Manage all inbound and outbound material movement between Pico Rivera and Bloomington locations.
  • Coordinate deliveries, transfers, and shipments to support operational and project requirements.
  • Be on-call and available to respond to immediate or urgent material needs, including after-hours support (night jobs) or short-notice requests as required.
  • Verify shipments prior to dispatch and upon arrival to ensure accuracy and completeness.

Material Acceptance & QA/QC

  • Accept, inspect, and perform QA/QC on pallets and individual material deliveries upon receipt.
  • Verify materials against Bills of Lading (BOLs), Purchase Orders (POs), and packing slips.
  • Identify, document, and report damaged, missing, or non-conforming materials.
  • Coordinate corrective actions for discrepancies, returns, or replacements with Project Managers.

Inventory Control, Labeling & Tracking

  • Label all materials and pallets clearly and accurately in accordance with company standards.
  • Track material location, status, and movement between both facilities.
  • Ensure proper staging, identification, and storage of all materials.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and support inventory audits as required.

Reporting & Documentation

  • Maintain complete and accurate logistics documentation, including:
    • Bills of Lading (BOLs)
    • Purchase Orders (POs)
    • Receiving and shipping records
  • Prepare and submit weekly material and inventory reports, including:
    • Inbound and outbound activity
    • Inventory balances (bulk items)
    • Material discrepancies or issues
    • Excess materials
  • Provide regular status updates to project management, operations, and leadership teams.

Warehouse Operations & Housekeeping

  • Maintain clean, organized, and safe warehouse environments at all assigned locations.
  • Ensure housekeeping standards are consistently met.
  • Protect company assets, including:
    • Re-wrapping panels
    • Covering filters, valves, and sensitive materials
    • Protecting materials from debris or environmental exposure
  • Support warehouse layout organization and efficient material flow.
  • Conduct routine checks for safety, cleanliness, and regulatory compliance.

Safety & Equipment Operation

  • Safely operate forklifts and material handling equipment.
  • Comply with OSHA regulations, company safety policies, and site-specific requirements.
  • Participate in safety meetings, inspections, and corrective actions as required.

Work Location & Travel Expectations

  • This is a full-time, on-site position.
  • Resource will be assigned full time to either Pico Rivera, CA or Bloomington, CA.
  • Must be able and willing to travel between both locations as required to support warehouse and logistics operations.


Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED (minimum).
  • Prior experience in logistics, material control, or warehouse operations.
  • Valid Forklift Certification.
  • Ability to perform QA/QC inspections of pallets and materials.
  • Driver's License Required Flexible to support on-call needs as required.
  • Working knowledge of:
    • Bill of Lading (BOLs)
    • Purchase Orders (POs)
    • Inventory and Warehouse Documentation
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including:
    • Microsoft Excel (inventory tracking, discrepancy tracking, basic formulas, and report generation)
    • Microsoft Word (documentation, reports, and written communication)
    • Microsoft Outlook (email communication, coordination, and scheduling)
  • SAP
  • Ability to accurately create, update, and maintain electronic reports and trackers.
  • Ability to lift and move materials in a warehouse environment.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to be on-call for immediate material needs.

Preferred Qualifications

  • OSHA certification or OSHA-qualified training.
  • Experience supporting multiple warehouse locations.

Wage Data Per State Requirements

Hourly range for this position is $25 - $31/hour. The starting pay will be commensurate with skill, education, experience, and working environment.

  • Exposure to forklifts, palletized materials, and moving equipment.
  • Physical requirements include standing, walking, lifting, and operating material handling equipment.
