NMSI is a remote-first organization, allowing staff members to work primarily from their home office. Staff must have a dedicated, distraction-free workspace with reliable high-speed internet. What You'll Do All Day

As a Coordinator, Program Design & Innovation, you will play an essential role in advancing our mission. You will collaborate with a passionate team to support the systems, workflows, and details that allow NMSI coaches and training services to run smoothly. The Coordinator, Program Design & Innovation directly impacts our mission by helping ensure educators and coaches experience well-organized services, timely communication, and high-quality learning environments. Your day-to-day activities may include:



  1. Schedule coach assignments by maintaining coach availability information, matching coaches to training needs, communicating assignment details, and tracking updates through internal systems and workflows.
  2. Serve as the primary communications representative for NMSI coaches by sharing event information, deadlines, expectations, travel details, system access instructions, and follow-up updates in a clear and timely manner.
  3. Monitor coach data and maintain related records, checklists, and workflows to support accurate staffing, payment readiness, compliance, participation tracking, and reporting; identify discrepancies and escalate issues when needed.
  4. Support training event details by coordinating equipment, materials, supplies, shipping, and other operational needs that contribute to a high-quality participant and coach experience.
  5. Support LMS course building and maintenance by preparing course shells, organizing materials, updating content, reviewing access and functionality, and maintaining course quality across NMSI training services.
  6. Additional duties related to event and coach management as assigned.



The Coordinator, Program Design & Innovation will report to the Director, Program Design & Innovation and is a regular full-time position offering the flexibility to work from anywhere within the contiguous United States. Occasional travel may be required for in-person meetings, conferences, and events.

  • Experienced: Experience in program coordination, training operations, logistics, project support, or a closely related role is preferred.
  • Tech-Savvy: Proficient or able to become quickly proficient in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, learning management systems, CRM or data systems, and virtual collaboration tools.
  • Strategic Thinkers: Able to understand how detailed tasks connect to larger service goals, anticipate operational needs, and flag issues early so work stays on track.
  • Results Driven: Highly organized and dependable, with strong task management skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple deadlines with clarity and follow-through.
  • Nimble Learners: Comfortable learning new systems, refining processes, and adjusting quickly as service needs, timelines, or priorities shift.
  • Team-Oriented: Clear communicators who build strong working relationships and support a collaborative environment across full-time staff and part-time coaches.
  • Physical Requirements: Remote employees working from a home office must be able to sit or stand for extended periods, use a computer and other standard office equipment, and have the capability to perform the required tasks and participate in virtual meetings, as well as occasionally in-person meetings. Employees must be able to travel overnight away from their home office environment as needed. Reasonable accommodation can be arranged if necessary.



What Do We Offer?

The starting hourly range for this position is $25.10 to $28.87, commensurate with experience. We take pay equity seriously and strive to ensure fair compensation for all team members. Our comprehensive benefits package includes:
