Our team in Marlborough, MA has been actively accelerating humanity's expansion into space for multiple decades. During that time, our innovative team has been designing and manufacturing mission-critical, high reliability optical sensors for satellites providing guidance, navigation, situational awareness, and control capabilities. With many more exciting projects on the horizon, our team could use your curiosity, passion, talent and experience to help us Build Above.
Redwire Space Components, LLC, has an immediate opening for an Engineering Manager to lead our Mechanical Engineering efforts at the Marlborough, MA facility. In this role, you will serve as the primary mechanical engineer for our sensor products and oversee a small team of mechanical designers. Your team will be responsible for the mechanical design, manufacturing readiness, and production support of Redwire's newest sun sensor, flight camera, and star tracker systems. This position requires not only strong mechanical design and leadership, but also a deep capability in manufacturing engineering-ensuring that designs transition cleanly into production and that our build, test, and configuration control processes are robust, efficient, and scalable.
You will oversee mechanical design execution, manufacturing planning, ERP-driven configuration management, and cross-functional coordination with operations, supply chain, and quality. This is a prominent opportunity to drive both engineering excellence and manufacturability for Redwire's space navigation sensor product line.
