Summary:

In this role, you will lead the enterprise research strategy by establishing and scaling a Research Center of Excellence that drives consistent, high-quality insights across the organization. You will define research standards, implement governance frameworks, and enable teams with tools, training, and advisory support to elevate research capabilities. You will partner with cross-functional leaders to ensure research is actionable, accessible, and aligned to business priorities, ultimately enabling confident, insight-driven decision-making that delivers measurable impact.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development and execution of the enterprise Research Center of Excellence strategy.

  • Establish research standards, methodologies, and best practices to ensure consistency and rigor.

  • Oversee an enterprise-wide portfolio of research initiatives, determining appropriate execution models based on complexity and risk.

  • Advise stakeholders on research design, methodologies, tools, and resourcing to ensure meaningful outcomes.

  • Implement governance frameworks and quality assurance processes to uphold research standards.

  • Build and maintain scalable research toolkits, templates, and self-service resources.

  • Deliver training programs, workshops, and coaching to strengthen organizational research capabilities.

  • Pilot and evaluate new tools, technologies, and AI applications to enhance research efficiency and accessibility.

  • Govern enterprise research efforts to reduce duplication and improve cross-functional coordination.

  • Provide strategic oversight of key research programs to ensure alignment with enterprise priorities.

  • Manage relationships with external vendors to ensure performance, quality, and continuous improvement.

  • Establish and enforce service level agreements and governance protocols with internal and external partners.

  • Partner with stakeholders to deliver timely, actionable insights through dashboards, reporting, and executive summaries.

  • Translate complex research findings into clear, compelling narratives for executive audiences.

Qualifications:

  • Relevant degree preferred.

  • 7 or more years of relevant experience required.

  • Experience in healthcare or B2B professional services environments preferred.

  • Deep expertise in qualitative and quantitative research methodologies.

  • Advanced experience with Qualtrics, including platform administration and enterprise enablement.

  • Strong ability to translate data into actionable insights and executive-level storytelling.

  • Experience establishing research standards within a matrixed organization.

  • Knowledge of B2B buyer behavior and client experience frameworks.

  • Strong communication, facilitation, and stakeholder engagement skills.

  • Willingness to travel.

Estimated Hiring Range:

At Vizient, we consider skills, experience, and organizational needs in our compensation approach. Geographic factors may adjust the range estimate and hires typically fall below the top range. Compensation decisions are tailored to individual circumstances. The current salary range for this role is $102,400.00 to $179,000.00.

This position is also incentive eligible.
