Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, is seeking a Behavior Analyst for the Rutgers' Graduate School of Applied and Professional Psychology Center for Adult Autism Services. The
RCAAS mission includes serving as a model program for other agencies supporting adults with autism. Consequently, the
RCAAS must remain state-of-the-art and cutting edge with respect to evidence-based Autism treatment.
Among the key duties of the position are the following:
- Coordinates and provides consultative oversight for all services, activities, and programs related to supporting the success of adults with autism within residential and other community-based settings.
- Ensures best-practice Applied Behavior Analysis procedures are applied in the education and treatment of adults with autism.
- Reports directly to the RCAAS administration.

Qualifications
| Minimum Education and Experience |
- Master's Level Board Certification as a Behavior Analyst and a minimum of 3 years of experience using Applied Behavior Analysis in the treatment of individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorders.

| Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities |
- Experience training and supervising other staff in the delivery of ABA services.
- Advanced knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis is required and must be evidenced by certification as a BCBA.

| Preferred Qualifications |
- Graduate Degree in: Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Education, Social Work, or comparable/related field.
- Specific training in: Functional Analysis, Treatment Analysis, Single-case research design, Crisis Management, Preference Assessment.
- Experience as a presenter at professional conferences (e.g., poster, symposium, workshop)
- Demonstrated history of collaboration with research faculty/staff resulting in publication within peer-reviewed journals.
- Fluency using data collection and program writing platforms for developing instructional/behavior modification programming and collection/tracking data for instructional/behavioral programming.

- Must demonstrate fluency in the use of Microsoft Office Suite (i.e., Excel, Word, PowerPoint) in the creation of programming documents, graphs, and presentations.

- Must maintain current certification in the implementation of crisis management techniques.

- In accordance with NJ state law, applicants must undergo and authorize the university to conduct fingerprint, criminal history, and/or child abuse record checks with various law enforcement agencies, including, but not limited to: The Federal Bureau of Investigation, Identification Division and/or the New Jersey Division of State Police, Bureau of Identification. Applicants must assume any costs incurred by the university associated with the background investigations, whether required by statute or not.
- In accordance with state mandated requirements, a Mantoux test will be administered to the successful applicant to verify the absence of tuberculosis. IN addition, the successful applicant, at the cost of the university, will be required to be inoculated against Hepatitis B, unless the successful applicant waives this vaccination in writing.

Immunization Requirements
Under Policy 100.3.1 Immunization Policy for Covered Individuals, if employment will commence during Flu Season, Rutgers University may require certain prospective employees to provide proof that they are vaccinated against Seasonal Influenza for the current Flu Season, unless the University has granted the individual a medical or religious exemption. Additional infection control and safety policies may apply. Prospective employees should speak with their hiring manager to determine which policies apply to the role or position for which they are applying. Failure to provide proof of vaccination for any required vaccines or obtain a medical or religious exemption from the University will result in rescission of a candidate's offer of employment or disciplinary action up to and including termination.
