The HR Generalist role focuses on delivering high-quality, front-line HR support across the employee lifecycle. This position is responsible for the day-to-day execution of HR processes while partnering closely with a senior HR Business Partner to support both operational and select strategic HR activities within an assigned business area.

This role is ideal for an early-career HR professional who enjoys operational excellence, data accuracy, employee interaction, and exposure to broader HR initiatives.

The base pay range for this role is estimated to be $62,250 - $91,300 at the time of posting. Final compensation will be determined by various factors such as work location, education, experience, knowledge, and skills.

Tasks and Qualifications:

What you will do in this role:

  • Provide comprehensive support to HR Business Partners across the employee lifecycle, including employee data management, reporting, performance management, employee relations, and termination processes.
  • Serve as a first point of contact for employees and front-line managers, responding to HR-related questions in a timely, professional, and supportive manner.
  • Maintain accurate and reliable HR data within Workday, ensuring high standards of data integrity and validation.
  • Manage the end-to-end contractor lifecycle, including all onboarding and offboarding activities within Workday.
  • Prepare and extract standard HR reports for analysis and operational use.
  • Partner with HR Business Partners to support basic risk assessments and ensure alignment with HR policies and procedures.
  • Execute operational activities related to the annual Performance Management process, including reporting on leader completion rates, supporting calibration sessions (note-taking), and tracking follow-up actions.
  • Handle basic employee relations matters and support leaders with employee performance documentation and actions.
  • Conduct exit interviews and provide feedback and insights as appropriate.

What we are looking for:

  • Foundational understanding of HR processes, standards, and tactical HR practices.
  • Basic knowledge of professional HR principles and employee lifecycle management.
  • Working understanding of local employment laws and governance requirements.
  • Ability to apply established HR concepts, practices, and procedures independently within assigned responsibilities.
  • Strong attention to detail, data accuracy, and follow-through.
  • Effective communication skills with the ability to interact confidently with employees and leaders.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred (Human Resources, Business, Sociology, Psychology, or related field), or equivalent relevant experience.
  • Entry-level to early professional HR experience with demonstrated ability to manage assigned responsibilities independently.
