Hyland is looking for a driven and relationship-focused Account Executive to join our sales team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining meaningful relationships with new and existing customers and partners, with a clear focus on consistently meeting or exceeding your assigned sales goals. Responsibilities

Your Role Responsibilities? Here's What You'll Do.
Develop a comprehensive sales plan to meet or exceed quota, including the identification and prioritization of opportunities for assigned existing and potential customers or partners.
Proactively initiate and maintain contact with potential customers, customers, and partners to develop, expand, and strengthen business relationships while collaborating with all available company resources to build pipeline.
Develop and communicate accurate, real-time sales forecasting and actively manage the closing plan for accounts, engaging internal leadership as needed to lead negotiations and ensure deals close on time.
Partner with sales solution engineers to develop and deliver compelling software demonstrations that speak directly to customer and prospect needs.
Assist with determining the viability of RFP requests and directly influence the development of thoughtful, competitive responses.
Record all customer account information in the CRM, including opportunities, commitments, meaningful conversations, and customer visits or sales calls, while staying informed on market trends, best practices, and customer business needs.

Basic Qualifications

Role Essentials
Associate's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the principal duties of the job.
Demonstrated experience as an Account Manager with a strong track record in sales within a relevant technology solution or assigned industry.
Strong ability to establish rapport, gain trust, and effectively negotiate and influence across a variety of audiences.
Proficient in opportunity management and account planning tools with the ability to manage a consistent, customer-oriented project workload.
Up to 50% travel time required



Preferred Qualifications

What We'd Like to See
3+ years of demonstrated knowledge of sales in a relevant technology solution or assigned industry.
Proficiency in Salesforce CRM and Microsoft Windows and Office.
Highly organized and experienced at successfully multi-tasking with the ability to manage work independently to completion.
Strong oral and written communication skills that reflect a professional demeanor and the ability to interact with discretion and tact.
Strong collaboration skills, applied successfully within a team as well as across other functional areas.
