IAM Market Expansion and Compliance Coordinator

The Independent Aftermarket (IAM) Market Expansion & Compliance Coordinator serves as the primary interface between Sales, Packaging Engineering, Regulatory, and IAM customers to ensure all packaging, labeling, regulatory, and channel-specific requirements are validated upfront. This role enables controlled expansion into new IAM markets and channels by ensuring parts are compliant, packaging-ready, and approved before being added to customer portfolios. The position works closely with Sales to support growth initiatives while protecting the organization from compliance risk, fines, rework, and downstream disruptions.

Key Responsibilities:



  • Act as the primary point of contact between Sales, Packaging Engineering, and IAM customers for packaging compliance and readiness
  • Validate that all IAM packaging requirements (regulatory, labeling, graphics, and channel rules) are met prior to market entry
  • Support Sales by reviewing new and existing IAM opportunities to confirm parts are compliant and ready to be added when needed
  • Coordinate with Packaging Engineering to ensure required packaging changes or validations are completed in support of IAM expansion
  • Work with Regulatory and internal stakeholders to interpret and apply packaging and labeling requirements for IAM and retail channels
  • Identify compliance risks, gaps, or constraints early and drive resolution prior to customer commitments
  • Ensure packaging and labeling requirements are clearly documented and communicated across stakeholders
  • Support controlled expansion into new markets and channels by enforcing consistent intake, validation, and approval processes

  • Auburn Hills, MI
  • On-site role
  • Potential travel to suppliers, vendors, or other Stellantis locations

Basic Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Business, Regulatory, or related field
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in packaging or related field
  • Experience working cross-functionally with Sales, Engineering, or Regulatory teams
  • Strong organizational and coordination skills with the ability to manage multiple concurrent requests
  • Ability to interpret requirements and translate them into clear, actionable inputs for technical teams
  • Strong communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders


Preferred Qualifications:



  • Experience supporting IAM, retail, or consumer-facing products or channels
  • Familiarity with packaging, labeling, or regulatory compliance requirements
  • Experience working in automotive, aftermarket, or regulated industries
  • Ability to identify and mitigate compliance or readiness risks prior to market entry
  • Experience acting as a customer or sales interface role within a technical organization
