Primary Work Location: Charles River Campus of UMass Amherst, Newton, MA Normal Work Schedule: Summer 2026 position. Up to 40 hours weekly M-F from 8:30 am-5:00 pm. Job Summary: Under the general direction of the Director of Capital Projects for the University of Massachusetts Building Authority or his/her designee, this position is responsible for supporting a group of professional staff in the management of capital projects, the development and organization of project management processes and procedures, construction practices, project budget development, scheduling, tracking and the management of personally assigned projects in direct support of the overarching mission of the Building Authority. This position is at Charles River Campus of UMass Amherst in Newton, MA. Candidates should be aware that when not at Charles River Campus in Newton, MA location expectation is that candidate is at campus construction site. The internship is paid $18.00 per hour and is open to current UMass students at the Amherst, Boston, Dartmouth, and Lowell campuses. Essential Functions:

Additional Details: The candidate is expected to contribute up to 40 hours weekly from 8:30 am-5:00 pm. The office is open from 8:30 am-5:00 pm Monday through Friday. This is a Summer 2026 internship, students expecting to graduate in Spring 2026 are not eligible.
