Join Allied Universal as an Armed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support patients, staff, and visitors with outstanding customer service and communication. Pay Rate: $22.18 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, medical support calls, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while following post orders and applicable use of force guidelines for an armed post.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, entry points, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual conditions.
• Monitor access to restricted areas, verify identification and/or credentials as required, and report suspicious activity, policy violations, and/or maintenance concerns to the appropriate personnel.
• Prepare clear, timely reports of incidents, patrol activities, and/or observations, and support local leadership and first responders during emergency situations and continuity events.

Minimum Requirements:

• An armed guard card or license is required.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
