As a Security Officer Unarmed Healthcare Sentinel in Culver City, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, support access and badge activity, and remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents. You will assist patients, visitors, and staff with professional communication and customer service while working with a team that is agile, reliable, and innovative, with a caring culture that puts people first and acts with integrity.

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and communicating with site leadership and/or first responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, assisting with entry procedures, directions, and policy questions while reporting suspicious behavior and/or policy violations.
• Support healthcare operations by helping to manage traffic flow, assist during patient-related situations when requested by staff, and follow post orders for after-hours and restricted-area coverage.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.
• Have at least 2 years of service in a healthcare or medical-related field.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
