Position Summary

Torch Technologies is seeking a Junior Software Systems Analyst to provide technical and analytical support for a U.S. Army missile defense system. This role supports software and system analysis efforts, including data analysis, requirements review, code analysis, documentation verification, test execution, and incident reporting. In this position, you will contribute to day-to-day technical activities by reviewing software artifacts, analyzing system outputs, supporting verification efforts, documenting findings, and assisting with issue investigation and reporting.

As a Junior Software Systems Analyst your duties will include but are too limited to the following:

• Support software and system analysis activities for the EDWA team.
• Perform data analysis using tools such asPython, MATLAB, Excel, or similar analytical tools.
• Assist withrequirements analysis and reviewto ensure traceability and alignment with expected behavior.
• Supportcode analysis / software behavior analysisas needed to assist with technical assessments and issue investigation.
• Review and verify technical documentation, software-related artifacts, and supporting engineering materials.
• Supporttest execution activities, including procedure review, results capture, and discrepancy identification.
• Assist with identifying, documenting, and trackingsoftware anomalies, incidents, and discrepancies.
• Draftincident reports, issue summaries, and technical documentationto support team activities.
• Support technical reviews, team meetings, and follow-up actions as required.
• Maintain organized analysis records and supporting documentation.

Required Qualifications:

• US Citizenship.
• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical discipline, or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years of relevant experience.
• Clearance Requirements: Active or eligible for DoW Security Clearance.

Desired Qualifications

• Familiarity withPython and/or MATLAB.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to clearly document technical findings and communicate effectively in a team environment.
• Ability to support software, systems, and test-related efforts in a structured program environment.
