This position works with multiple areas of the company to plan, develop, implement and support Digital Shopping fulfillment solutions and programs. They will develop, drive and execute strategies, capabilities and projects that advance the efficiency of fulfillment operations for the Digital Shopping program.
This position will serve as a subject matter expert, and customer advocate to provide innovative service and digital solutions for Meijer.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Provide project and thought leadership in the design, development and implementation of Meijer Digital Shopping solutions for (but not limited to) Pickup and Home Delivery services. May include in store fulfilment, customer communication/interaction, property and construction, and delivery initiatives. This would include leadership through all program phases; design, financial modeling, developments, piloting and scale-up.
- Actively participates in the strategic positioning of digital shopping and other digital programs, ensuring they meet key business requirements and are consistent with overall Meijer strategic direction.
- Closely engages with retail operations to monitor and improve joint store/fulfillment partner process for efficiency and quality while improving customer satisfaction with the service.
- Works closely with other Digital Shopping team members to ensure program changes and strategies are clearly communicated to customers and align with business goals.
- Provides project coordination to 3rd party contractors including management of project engagement, scope, deliverables, team performance, issue resolution, and success criteria.
- Actively collaborates with technical IT teams to coordinate technical/system requirements, data structures and platform testing to support Digital Shopping projects and partner integrations.
- Coordinates internal and external communications on current initiatives, milestones and roadmaps.
- Identifies opportunities and challenges in market activity through discussions and analysis of data.
- Reports business results and efficiency measurements by fulfillment channel type, store, and market. Provides reporting to key business stakeholders and leadership.

What You Bring With You (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in designing & developing customer focused digital business solutions.
- 3+ years of experience in Digital/e-commerce Operations and/or Product Management of digital solutions.
- Applied knowledge of customer focused service.
- Understanding of critical success factors & KPI's.
- Fast learner and high performer with a proactive nature and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
