RN, Clinical Supervisor, Orthopedic Unit

The unit's Total Joint Practice Specialists provide a
pre-operative Total Joint Education Program (both
in-person and online). Our diverse patient population
ranges from age 15 to 99+ and consists of:
* Elective total joint patients
* Orthopedic trauma patients
* Elective spinal surgical patients

The Clinical Supervisor is a member of the unit-based leadership team. Provides supervision of the nursing operations of a unit. In the absence of the Manager or Director may assume 24-hour nursing responsibility. Works with a unit specific patient population.

1. Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
2. Three (3) years experience in clinical area with a minimum of one (1) year in area of specialty OR
Bachelor's degree or higher in Nursing with two (2) years of experience in clinical area with a minimum of one (1) year in area of specialty.
3. Current license in the State of Georgia as a Registered Nurse or Nurse Compact (NLC/eNLC) or Multistate license
4. Must hold Certified in American Heart Association's Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS).
5. Visual color acuity depending on the role in specific units.

PREFERRED:

1. Additional Life Support credential (ACLS, PALS, NRP, etc.) or other clinical specialty certifications in specific units.
