Job Summary The Business Operations Manager reports to the Director of Nursing Quality and Business Operations and is accountable for assisting leadership in monitoring and improving performance across multiple departments and services. This position leverages project management skills to effectively plan, execute, and finalize projects within established deadlines, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and quality standards. Responsibilities include identifying performance improvement opportunities, coordinating cross-departmental initiatives, analyzing performance data to inform decision-making, and providing regular updates to leadership on project progress to enhance operational efficiency and quality of care. *Mentorship and Orientation: Mentor and orient new managers and team members in logistics, revenue cycle, and financial performance to enhance operational understanding and improve departmental efficiency. *Financial Performance Oversight: Collaborate with management to monitor and improve financial performance across departments, ensuring effective logistics support for clinical activities and adherence to established quality standards. *Project Planning and Communication: Develop comprehensive project plans and associated communication materials, clearly conveying project expectations to team members and stakeholders to facilitate timely execution and alignment with organizational goals. *Task Initiation and Management: Independently assess needs and initiate tasks or respond to leadership directives to drive performance improvement initiatives effectively. **Performance Dashboards: Create and maintain division dashboards that illustrate key outcomes and performance metrics, enabling leadership to make informed decisions. *Data Analysis: Conduct thorough data and situational analyses to support effective decision-making, identifying performance improvement opportunities within departments. *Project Management: Direct and manage assigned projects from inception to completion, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and timely delivery of results. *Budget Monitoring: Monitor divisional budget variances and trends, maintain accurate records, and analyze data to support financial decision-making and performance improvement. *Evaluation and Monitoring: Conduct evaluation and monitoring activities as assigned to ensure continuous quality improvement and compliance with standards of care. *Leadership Support: Collaborate with leadership to monitor goal achievement, facilitate problem resolution, and provide regular updates on project progress to enhance operational efficiency and quality of care. Qualifications: *Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business administration or related field *Three or more years' experience as a financial or business analyst *-Three or more years of direct work experience in project management - including all aspects of process development and execution Preferred: *Nursing exp with three to five years' experience in financial management/project planning, etc. *Healthcare related experience highly desired Core Competencies 1.
