Job Duties
This fellowship is designed for highly motivated individuals who are passionate about college athletics and interested in pursuing a career in fundraising and development. The selected candidate will gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced environment while contributing to the Pirate Club's mission of supporting ECU student-athletes.

The fellow will play a key role in donor engagement efforts, assisting in the cultivation and stewardship of current members while helping identify and develop new donor prospects. Through this experience, the fellow will build a strong foundation in annual giving, donor communications, event operations, and strategic fundraising initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
* Assist in donor engagement and communication efforts, including phone outreach, email campaigns, and stewardship initiatives.
* Support the execution of Pirate Club events, including hospitality functions and game day operations
* Contribute to Impact Fund initiatives and membership growth strategies
* Work closely with Assistant Director of Development on Student Pirate Club strategy and initiatives
* Identify and research prospective donors to expand the Pirate Club's membership base
* Assist with data management, reporting, and donor tracking within CRM systems
* Collaborate with athletics staff on special projects and departmental initiatives
* Gain exposure to major gift strategy and donor cultivation
Minimum Education/Experience
Bachelor's degree; or equivalent combination of training and experience. All degrees must be received from appropriately accredited institutions.
License or Certification Required by Statute or Regulation
Preferred Experience, Skills, Training/Education
* Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
* Interest in collegiate athletics, fundraising, or sports administration
