Your Opportunity:

TechSource is hiring a full-time Technical Advisor to support Department of Energy (DOE)/National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA)'s Office of Strategic Materials Production Modernization. Working with a motivated, knowledgeable, and collaborative team, you'll work with the national security laboratories and nuclear weapon production facilities engaged in managing technical work to modernize our nuclear weapon stockpile.

Primary Responsibilities:


  • Manage a challenging and diverse portfolio - this position directly supports an emerging opportunity to modernize NNSA's Lithium capabilities.

* Provide input to a broad array of initiatives ranging from deploying new technologies, new facilities, and recapitalization of existing processes.


  • Organize, plan, schedule, implement, control, and analyze performance on various projects and programs.
  • Create and implement plans and processes to meet program performance including schedule, quality, cost, and security requirements.
  • Support the modernization of technologies and acquisitions at NNSA sites.
  • Identify programming and planning requirements to support Stockpile Modernization.
  • Identify and report on issues, potential risks, and opportunities.
  • Drive process improvement and innovation. Create plans and processes required to meet all performance, schedule, quality, cost, and security requirements.
  • Some travel will be required (10%).
  • Active DOE Q security clearance.
  • Master's degree in STEM field. PhD preferred.
  • 10 or more years of project management or related technical experience.
  • Experience with DOE/NNSA/DoD programs.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
