JOB TITLE: Sales Representative II

ABOUT THE ROLE: The Sales Representative II plays a critical role in developing profitable precast construction projects while building and maintaining strong client relationships. This position focuses on identifying new opportunities, supporting preconstruction efforts, and guiding projects from early concept through completion. The ideal candidate combines technical understanding, relationship-building skills, and a strong sales mindset to drive successful project outcomes.

Salary range $120,000-160,000. Based on experience.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

As a sales representative II, you will:



  • Identify, track, and pursue new sales opportunities and upcoming construction projects
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with owners, general contractors, architects, and engineers
  • Present precast solutions to clients and represent the company at trade shows and industry events
  • Collaborate with preconstruction, estimating, engineering, and project teams to support project development
  • Assist with project layouts, preliminary estimates, scheduling, and value-added design solutions
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date opportunity and project information within the CRM system
  • Share critical project information across departments to support coordination and planning
  • Achieve an annual personal sales goal of approximately $10 million in revenue


WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR

We're looking for a motivated, relationship-driven sales professional who thrives in the construction industry and enjoys partnering with internal and external teams to deliver results.

IDEAL CANDIDATES WILL HAVE:



  • Experience in construction sales, precast concrete, structural systems, or a related building materials environment
  • A solid understanding of construction processes, preconstruction workflows, and project lifecycles
  • Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with owners, contractors, architects, and engineers
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to clearly explain technical solutions
  • A proactive, self-directed approach to identifying opportunities and managing a sales pipeline
  • Comfort working cross-functionally with estimating, engineering, and project management teams
  • Experience using CRM systems to track opportunities and forecast revenue
  • A results-driven mindset with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals


EDUCATION, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:



  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, or Construction Management preferred


or



  • 10+ years of experience in precast project management, estimating, or operations
  • Experience with complex building types such as:

    • Total precast buildings
    • Multi-level buildings
    • Parking structures


  • Possession of a valid driver's license and the ability to operate a motor vehicle.


PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/ ADA ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS



  • Ability to sit or stand for extended periods of time.
  • Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination for typing, filing, and using office equipment.
  • Visual acuity and ability to read small print.
  • Hearing acuity and the ability to communicate effectively with others.
  • Ability to lift and move office supplies and equipment.
  • Mobility and ability to move around the office as needed.
