Every detail of the company's one-of-a-kind manufacturing facility is tailor-engineered to streamline and improve customer service, engineering and manufacturing processes.


POSITION SUMMARY:


The Stockroom Team Lead is responsible for overseeing daily stockroom operations and ensuring accurate inventory control. This role coordinates and delegates workflow to stockroom material handlers, ensuring materials are properly received, stored, issued, and recorded in accordance with company procedures. The Team Lead monitors inventory accuracy, supports efficient material flow to production and other departments, and maintains an organized and safe stockroom environment. This position also serves as the primary point of contact for stockroom operations, helping resolve inventory issues, supporting cycle counts, and ensuring team productivity and accountability.



ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:



  • Lead and coordinate daily activities of stockroom material handlers to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of tasks.
  • Maintain accurate inventory control through proper receiving, storage, issuing, and tracking of materials.
  • Monitor and maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counts, audits, and reconciliation of discrepancies.
  • Ensure materials are properly labeled, stored, and organized to support efficient material flow to production and other departments.
  • Delegate and prioritize daily work assignments to support operational needs and production schedules.
  • Train, guide, and support stockroom personnel on procedures, safety practices, and company policies.
  • Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies, shortages, or material issues in a timely manner.
  • Coordinate with purchasing, production, and other departments to ensure material availability and smooth operations.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized stockroom environment in compliance with company safety standards.
  • Monitor team performance and provide feedback to improve productivity and efficiency.
  • Assist with receiving, shipping, and material handling activities when necessary to support operational demands.
  • Ensure compliance with company procedures, inventory management systems, and quality requirements.

Requirements

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:



  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • One to three years of experience desired in a manufacturing environment.
  • Any equivalent combination of education and experience determined to be acceptable by management.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT



  • Works primarily in a climate controlled manufacturing environment with regular exposure to dust, odors, oil, and fumes with moderate noise. Regularly required to sit, stand, bend, reach, and move about the facility.
  • Sedentary, sitting, walking, occasional lifting (overhead, waist level) from floor, bending, and reaching.
  • PPE required may include safety glasses and gloves in designated areas of the facility.
