Job Summary

The Elkins Park ODR Administrative Coordinator II position is per diem position in the Office of Disability Resources (ODR) at Drexel University. The Coordinator manages the operations of the testing center and supervises part-time graduate student proctors. This role serves as the primary Office of Disability Resources representative on Elkins Park Campus.

Essential Functions



  • Coordinate various aspects of the Testing Center, test registration and availability, and scheduling of exams based on data from the Clockwork database
  • Collect and maintain Testing Center data, including the number of exams proctored per term and location, number of students tested, number of tests given, and type of tests.
  • Supervise, hire and train proctors for Elkins Park Campus.
  • Create and maintain the accuracy of resource materials for students, faculty, staff and administration about academic testing services.
  • Establish and implement procedures to verify student eligibility and identity prior to scheduling testing.
  • Reserve and prepare testing room(s).
  • Secure exams and maintain test integrity while materials are in the possession of ODR.
  • Ensure that completed exams are returned to the instructor or program office for grading.
  • Monitor the electronic proctoring system and notify Technology and Library Services (TLS) of any attention needed to ensure its functionality.
  • Approve proctor hours worked via the established protocols for payment.
  • Coordinate Assistive Technology services for students with accommodations at Elkins Park Campus in partnership with supervisor.
  • Coordinate the provision of note-taking and auxiliary services (ie: CART, ASL Interpreting), acting as a liaison with service providers and receivers at Elkins Park Campus.
  • Oversee alternative and accessible format creation of textbooks and other material (i.e. large print and electronic) for students with accommodations at Elkins Park Campus.
  • Proctor examinations, as needed.
  • Represent the ODR at campus events, as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned.


Required Qualifications



  • Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree and 1 year of experience working in a related field.
  • Ability to work a fluctuating schedule throughout the week during regular business hours (7:30am - 5pm)

Additional Information

This is a Part-Time per diem position classified as Non-Exempt. The offered pay is based on the successful candidate's qualifications and experience, department budget, and an internal equity review.
