Astrion has an exciting opportunity for aSENIOR TEST & EVALUATION SPECIALIST supporting the 96th Test Wing located on Eglin AFB, FL.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS

• Must have an active andtransferrableDoD Secret security clearance with current investigation at the required level. Must be able toattainTop Secret clearance.
• AS degree and 20yrs experience; OR BS degree and 15yrs experience.Degree program and experience must be relevant.
• Former fighter aircrew with A/A missile experience.
• Prior Developmental Test (DT) experience with knowledge of Eglin/Tyndal/Edwards test range processes.
• Familiarity with Eglin test agencies.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide T&E technical and engineering support by documenting the review, test concept development, testmethodologydevelopment, test plan development, test execution, and test reporting, data reduction and analysis, and end-user operational testing.
• Utilize and apply Design of Experiments methods to plan and conduct test programs.
• Prepare (oradviseothers in the preparation of) criteria, computation/analyses, specifications, cost estimates test plans, and technical reports in the specific area of technicalexpertise.
• Select and apply engineering techniques and procedures to analyze and evaluate specificproblem, data, or other features of the work which are broad in scope and complexity.
• Review and evaluate the quantity, quality, and overall adequacy of results and conclusions drawn from accomplishment of test engineering tasks.
• Develop new and innovative approaches to problemsencountered, andaccomplishassigned tasks with efficiency, timeliness, and thoroughness.
• Evaluate the configuration, capability, and operational relevance of test environments and ensure they are properly available for the thorough testing of software releases (e.g.fault insertion/fault identification).
• De-conflict schedule conflicts between multiple releases, providing high quality analysis and recommendations to the program test lead.
