Position: Medical Simulation Training Specialist, Camp Pendleton, CA (Temporary)

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

Fors Marsh is seeking a temporary medical simulation training specialist. This individual would be supporting medical simulation training onsite at the Naval Expeditionary Medicine Warfighter Development Center (NEMWDC), Camp Pendleton, CA. This position is for a full time (40 hours per week), contract through December 2026. We are able and looking to hire immediately.

Responsibilities include:

*Facilitate medical simulation training, utilizing part-task trainers, mannequin-based simulators, surgical simulators, and cadavers (site-specific cases).

*Provide orientation to the simulation equipment.

*Design, develop, test, and implement training materials and scenarios.

*Support the setup of simulation supplies/equipment for training scenarios based on identified learning objectives.

*Operate and maintain simulation equipment, task trainers, computerized simulators, virtual reality, and other emerging technologies.

*Collect training data

*Coordinate and provide support for student logistics and administrative tasks.

*Review simulation encounters, including after-action reports and identified metrics, providing feedback in monthly reports.

*Ensure availability, functionality, and preventive maintenance of simulation equipment and supplies.

*Conduct orientation and safety briefings for newly assigned personnel and students.

Qualifications:

*Experience in military medicine including use of medical simulation training and operation of simulation equipment.

*3 years of experience with DOD Medical Healthcare Environment.

*Expertise with a variety of medical simulation platforms.

*Ability to support medical simulation.

* Ability to work on site at the Naval Expeditionary Medicine Warfighter Development Center (NEMWDC), Camp Pendleton, CA.

* Will be subject to a low-level government security investigation and must meet eligibility criteria for access to sensitive information for combined access card requirement.

* Must be a U.S. Citizen and consent to a full background check due to our federal contract requirements.
