Job Overview

The Manager, Private Brand Business Office advances strategic and operational priorities for the Private Brand organization through cross-functional collaboration, strong analytical leadership, and disciplined process management. The role drives organizational alignment, streamlines reporting and calendaring processes, and partners across product development, design, raw materials, buying, planning, tech, and overseas teams to enable efficient execution. This position serves as a trusted advisor and business generalist, contributing to strategic decision-making and enabling business transformation through simplification, speed, and integrated workflows.

What You Will Do



  • Lead the development and deployment of reporting optimization tools, applying insights to drive scalable best practices across all FOBs.
  • Partner with Product Development and Design Directors to advance initiatives that accelerate growth in Private Brand.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional NY and overseas partners to implement business process improvements and operational enhancements.
  • Manage Private Brand-wide reporting within areas of responsibility, ensuring accuracy, accessibility, and actionable insights.
  • Prepare analytical recaps and recommendations for IMU recapping, strategies, and initiative planning sessions.
  • Lead weekly team TB agendas to clarify priorities and support requirements.
  • Oversee and maintain the FOB calendar, ensuring visibility into key deadlines and milestones.
  • Set up and manage centralized reporting, systems, and process frameworks.
  • Own and execute special projects and committee work that strengthens performance and operational effectiveness.
  • Foster an environment of acceptance and respect that strengthens relationships, and ensures authentic connections with colleagues, customers, and communities.
  • In addition to the essential duties mentioned above, other duties may be assigned.

Data & Reporting Optimization: Applies reporting tools and analytics to synthesize insights and drive operational decision-making.

Cross-Functional Partnership: Builds strong relationships across PD, Design, Tech, Planning, Buying, and overseas teams to enable aligned execution.

Operational Planning & Calendar Management: Establishes structured processes, systems, and timelines that improve efficiency and predictability.

Project & Change Management: Leads complex, multi-workstream efforts through shifting priorities, delivering results with speed and agility.

Communication & Collaboration: Communicates with candor, ensures transparency, and facilitates productive debate to bring the best ideas forward.

Process Innovation: Identifies legacy approaches, evaluates relevance, and champions scalable, simplified solutions aligned to strategy.

Analytical Acumen: Interprets IMU and financial reporting to generate actionable recommendations that inform business decisions.

Who You Are



  • Candidates with a bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in a related field are encouraged to apply.
  • Experienced in retail, catalog, or ecommerce product development or merchandising, ideally with 5-plus years of relevant experience.
  • Regularly required to sit, talk, hear; use hands/fingers to touch, handle, and feel. Occasionally required to move about the workplace and reach with hands and arms. Requires close vision.
  • Able to work a flexible schedule based on department and company needs.
