You'll gain hands-on experience with:



  • Security monitoring, incident detection, and response using SIEM and endpoint protection tools


  • Networking and operating systems (Windows/Linux) in real-world environments


  • Cybersecurity workflow automation and scripting with Python or PowerShell


  • Analyzing logs, identifying vulnerabilities, and recommending mitigation strategies

  • Location: Carmel, IN | Housing available for qualified students


  • Academic Level: Graduate or Undergraduate (Juniors or Seniors)


  • Degree: Computer Science, Cyber Security, Data Science/Analytics, Information Technology, or Computer Engineering


Required Technical Skills:



  • Foundational knowledge in networking (TCP/IP, DNS, firewalls)


  • Familiarity with Windows/Linux operating systems


  • Understanding of security tools and concepts (SIEM, endpoint protection, log analysis)


Preferred Skills:



  • Python or PowerShell scripting


  • Data analytics, log parsing, or security workflow experience


  • Hands-on projects or internships related to cyber defense or IT security


By the End of Your Co-op, You'll Walk Away With:



  • Real-world experience in cyber defense and protecting critical infrastructure


  • Exposure to security operations, monitoring, and incident response processes


  • The ability to apply classroom knowledge to practical cybersecurity challenges
