The Application Analyst Intermediate provides technical application support for complex clinical and/or business applications in order to improve their overall performance and ensure they are meeting the organization's needs. Working under moderate supervision, this role gathers, analyzes and evaluates user needs, and implements, optimizes, supports, and troubleshoots clinical and/or business applications.
The Retail Systems Integrations Analyst reports to the ITS ERP Manager of Finance and Supply Chain Applications. The RSIA partners with multiple Cone departments and retail technology staff for the integration of Information Technology (IT) platforms for enterprise, operator, and guest-facing systems. This analyst serves as the subject matter expert and primary support resource for all Point of Sale systems as well as employee payment processing systems. This primary duties of this position centers on collaborating with vendors and internal stakeholders to gather business and data requirements, test and implement features and functionality of the systems, and support all aspects and phases of these systems serving as the primary Application Administrator. *Responsible for technical configuration, support, development and application administration of Point of Sale systems *Performs validation of data and functionality for Point of Sale (POS), back office systems, reporting systems. *Responsible for strict adherence to all Cone Health ITS Change Management policies and procedures *Coordinates end user validation and verification for all maintenance, updates and upgrades (Database, OS, or platform). *Tracks all issues, requests, problems and tasks and provides regular reports and updates on status of same. *Collaborates with stakeholders and subject matter experts to validate design specifications system functionality and data requirements are met. *Provides support for accounting and payroll processes to ensure accurate data flow. *Is the primary Application Administrator and support person for all aspects of POS systems support. *Develops and maintains detailed technical and business process documentation. *Develops user documentation, "cheat sheets" and other materials as needed. *Proactively seeks opportunities to optimize system performance, implement features, and improve processes and functionality. *Meets regularly with stakeholders to provide outstanding support *Regularly makes site visits and frequently monitors system performance. *Develops and supports interfaces to foreign systems as well as maintains documentation for same. *Develops audits, queries and reports as needed for proactive issue avoidance and rapid detection. This must be a local resource, must be willing to go on site and work out of the retail area Essential Job Function
