Marketing Manager Your role and responsibilities

ABB Robotics Academy is responsible for creating, delivering and coordinating training for the Marketing & Sales and Service organization within Robotics globally. Our main training deliverables include Sales & Service readiness Packages, Service Certification Programs, Job Role Learning Paths, Global CourseWare for our worldwide Training Centers and ABB Simstructions for our Field service engineers.

In the role of Sales Training Lead, you will join a self-driven and diverse team of highly skilled professionals where our climate is open and trusting. You will play a key role in equipping ABB Robotics' global sales organization with the knowledge, skills, and tools needed to drive growth and accelerate customer value. You will design and deliver worldclass learning experiences that strengthen sales capability, support strategic initiatives, and ensure consistent execution across regions and channels.

This role reports to Sales Enablement & Training Manager.

Your responsibilities:

  • Identify sales capability gaps and create modern, engaging learning journeys for our sales organization including onboarding, sales skills and knowledge of our portfolio

  • Take ownership of our sales enablement tool Showpad; drive usage and engagement by the global Sales organization.

  • Leverage the Robotics Academy platform (Cornerstone) to ensure consistent deployment and measurable learning outcomes.

  • Collaborate with subjectmatter experts to ensure content accuracy, relevance, and global applicability.

  • Work closely with Global and Regional Sales, Product Management, and Marketing to ensure alignment and high adoption of programs.

  • Define KPIs to measure training effectiveness and impact on sales performance.

  • Track adoption, completion, and competency improvements using data and analytics.

  • Recommend continuous improvements based on feedback, business outcomes and the evolution of our tools and platforms.

Your background
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Education, or related field.

  • Experience developing sales training for software portfolios, digital platforms, or AIenabled solutions, with the ability to translate technical capabilities into customer value.

  • Proven experience in sales enablement, commercial training, or capability development (preferably in a global B2B environment).

  • Strong understanding of sales processes, methodologies (e.g., valuebased selling), and CRM/enablement tools; experience with AIenhanced or softwarebased enablement platforms is an advantage.

  • Demonstrated ability to design and deliver highimpact training programs.

  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.

  • Experience working in crossfunctional, multicultural environments.

  • Background in robotics, automation, industrial technology, or related technical fields.

  • Customerfocused and businessoriented mindset.

  • Proactive, creative problem-solver with a passion for modern learning design.
