DESCRIPTION OF WORK

As a Management Analyst Manager, you will participate in short-term and long-term plans, initiatives, policies, and standards that advance the Bureau's mission, vision, and goals in support of all people in Pennsylvania who may need the services and benefits we provide, as well as lead and oversee the Management Services Division's three sections: Document Coordination, Records & Technology, and Printing & Mail. Work involves assisting the director in applying Departmental and Bureau policies and procedures, and in managing the bureau's operations, budget, and activities. Your responsibilities will also include providing guidance and oversight to section supervisors and managers; mentoring staff; resolving daily issues and questions; and analyzing Division operations with an eye for improvement.

Our team will rely on you to provide leadership and guidance to staff within Division on planning, initiation, and review of changes or improvements in procedures; assist in addressing immediate challenges; and to ensure consistency in operations. Your work in this role will be essential for implementing process improvements that better serve our customers and serve all people in Pennsylvania who may need the supportive services and benefits our department provides.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:

  • Full-time employment
  • Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.
  • Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg. The ability to telework is subject to change at any time. Additional details may be provided during the interview.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:

  • One year of experience as a Management Analyst Supervisor; or four years of progressively responsible experience in technical management analysis work which included one year supervising the evaluation of work methods, procedures, or organizational structures, and a bachelor's degree; or
  • Any equivalent combination of experience and training..
