DESCRIPTION OF WORK

In this role, you will lead a team of mental health professionals, coordinate treatment strategies, and ensure that patients receive care that is safe, respectful, and based on solid evidence. Your responsibilities will include reviewing treatment plans, facilitating team meetings, conducting daily patient rounds, providing psychotherapy, and contributing to the development of policies that uphold high clinical standards. - Full-time employment
- Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.
- Schedule may change based on operational needs
- Overtime and travel: as needed.
- Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position.
- Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY

QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- One year as a Staff Psychiatrist (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration); or
- One year of experience in psychiatry or child psychiatry and completion of a residency or training program in psychiatry which meets the certification requirements of the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology or the American Osteopathic Board of Neurology and Psychiatry.
Special Requirements:
- This position requires possession of a license to practice medicine in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania as issued by the State Board of Medical Education and Licensure, or the State Board of Osteopathic Examiners.
Other Requirements:
- PA residency requirement is currently waived for this title.
- You must be able to perform essential job functions.
